During the energy simulations, our engineers will model existing and new building heating and cooling systems to optimise existing and replacement heat plants and emitters.
Energy models can baseline existing heat generation in terms of annual generation, cost and carbon production. The model can then be used to assess different sizes of heat pumps and buffer vessels to offset carbon and reduce cost optimally.
The strategies our engineers use to establish heating and cooling demand in your building include:
- Energy bill analysis, which provides good accuracy in results
- Room by room heat loss, which offers better accuracy in results
- IES modelling, which gives us the best accuracy in results
