Laura Bishop of Infinitas Design Winner Top 50 Women in Women's Engineering Society WE5 Awards 2020

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Laura Bishop (our MD) has been named as one of the winners in this years WE5 awards.

As you can read on the above image, Laura’s interest in climate and the environment began in the 1980’s when her Dad, Lawerence King (also an engineer), introduced the family to recycling long before it became fashionable and mainstream.

With Laura’s engineering skills and her Dad’s ideals, these have helped shape the ethos of Infinitas Design Ltd, which provides design expertise and advice to the renewable heat industry.

Laura is passionate about her industry and though she doesn’t seek publicity she is keen to promote engineering as a career option to for other women, when asked about the award, she said. “I’m thrilled to have won and I hope this encourages other women into this brilliant industry”.
